Why use Clean Paste?
When you copy text from Word, Google Docs, Outlook, or a website, it usually brings invisible formatting along with it — fonts, font sizes, colors, and layout styles hidden in HTML tags. Pasting that text into a CMS, email tool, or form often breaks the layout or looks completely different from the rest of your page.
Clean Paste strips all of that out, leaving you with plain text that matches whatever you're pasting it into.
How it works
Paste your text into the box on the left. As soon as you paste, your browser strips out the formatting automatically and shows the plain text result on the right. Use the options above to also clean up extra spaces and blank lines. Then click "Copy clean text" and paste it wherever you need it.
Your text stays private
Everything happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Nothing you paste here is ever sent to a server, saved, or logged — so it's safe to use with confidential documents, client work, or anything else you wouldn't want uploaded online.
